Parents/Players,

Coach Vasse here. I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. I wanted to touch base and give everyone some follow up information on our plans and what’s to come. As you are aware we have been blessed to use Lutheran Church for some time now, but also have been adjusting around the HS basketball season, HS volleyball and now club volleyball who use the same facility. With the club volleyball team utilizing most of the time, it has been hard for us to schedule any consistent workouts and hard to plan ahead. With that being said, we have been working hard to find a place that we could secure weekly and give us the ample space and time we need to practice and prepare our players for the upcoming 2021 season. We are blessed to be able to know and work with some great people and have secured a new gym for our program moving forward, but we will always keep Lutheran on our list as a very hopeful option to continue to use if possible.

We have been hearing and seeing really great things on our players and the success they are having with their HS teams and now the start of some MS games as well. We wish we could get out to everyone’s games, but it is very difficult to do at this time. Always remember, we are watching and rooting for all of you to continue to do well.

We are excited about heading into 2021 and plan to carry a number of teams that will all be competing at a high level. We will be holding MS and HS tryouts for our program, not to make new teams, but to fill any gaps or holes we feel are necessary for the respective teams we will carry. Our goal is not to expand any further at this time, so that we are able to properly work with, develop, and promote the players we have correctly. Everyone will be required to attend tryout sessions for their respective Grade Class. We do this so we can get an idea of where our current players are at, and where new players measure up to what we already have.

We are a year round program, and the business of SAHE doesn’t stop. Our Coaches are still meeting, working on schedules, securing gym times, equipment preparation and much more in preparation for 2021. We understand times are a bit different and difficult for some, but we ask that your Dues are still being sent in. If there are any issues with Dues, please feel free to reach out to myself or Coach Rudy to discuss.

We will be taking our seasonal Holiday Break Dec 14th-Feb 1st. We will still have workout days/times scheduled for our players to utilize, but no tournaments scheduled for any teams. We potentially could play an event or so in January but that will be a team by team discussion amongst the Coaches, parents, and players at that time.

I hope i have addressed some things that may have been on your mind, but if there are some things that i have missed that you have questions on, please feel free to reach out via email, text or call.

I look forward to getting back in the swing of things and seeing ALL of our players very soon. The season will be here before we know it and we are all very excited to see our players, teams and program continue to flourish.
